ANTIAGING PRODUCTS: GYCONUTRIENTS
Glyconutrients
Glyconutrients focus on helping the human cells to
work at optimal levels. In this way, essential cell
nutrients can pass easily through cell walls and waste
products are eliminated from the cell, through normal
cell processes.
If the cell is operating efficiently, it is more likely
to regenerate itself without damaging the DNA, resulting
in mutated or cancer cells.
Glycol is a sweet nutrient composed of sugar molecules
necessary for the biology of the human organism. There
are eight essential sugars (monosaccharides) that the
body needs for healthy cell to cell communication:
- mannose
- galactose
- fucose
- xylose
- glucose
- sialic acid
- N-acetylglucosamine
- N-acetylgalactosamine
The first two, mannose and galactose are found in
aloe vera, are considered phytochemicals with a different
role in the body than as a nutrient. Instead, they are
readily absorbed and incorporated with proteins and
fats as glycol-proteins and glycolipids to form what
are called glycoconjugates.
These coat the surface of cell to bind with their receptor
sites which acts as a chain of chemical events like
a communication network throughout the entire body.
This communication enhancing capability:
- Aids communication between invading pathogens and
human host cells, boosting immune responses.
- Help in many aspects of immune system function,
including modulating activation or inactivating natural
killer cells, non-specific defences, macrophage activation,
and cell tissue migration.
- Assist in signals to direct immune cells where
to leave the blood stream.
- Aid, assist, or help in the maintenance or improvement
of your general well-being.
- Help maintain healthy digestive function.
