Hair Loss Treatments

Not every proposed solution will cure hair loss in one person. It is important that a correct diagnosis is made as to the likely cause of hair loss before deciding on treatment.

Treatments can be either:

  1. Preventative
  2. Restorative
  3. Surgical
  4. Cosmetic

Expected Results

The sooner treatment is started the more successful the results. The process of hair loss occurs over many years; so steps can be taken to prevent it occurring as well as attempting reversal. It is therefore best to start treatment within the first 5 years of noticing balding. Many treatments use a multiple approach to both reverse past balding and prevent future hair loss.

The expected time promised for results also ranges from 3-18 months, with the cheapest product offering a 3 month expectation.
